Pre-Order Color Index 2 and The Digital Photography Book 2 now!

The Digital Photography Book, Volume 2I was excited when I stopped by Scott Kelby’s Blog this afternoon and saw that The Digital Photography Book, Volume 2 was available for pre-order on Amazon.

I really enjoyed his other book The Digital Photography Book. Though his humor is a bit tiresome in writing, the book still successfully communicated so many great ideas.

While I was pre-ordering Amazon hooked it’s teeth into me an made me pre-order another book that is coming out in December (damn that super saver shipping…)

Color Index 2I am equally as excited about Jim Krause’s Color Index 2 also available for pre-order. I love all of Krause’s books. All of his indexes are a great reference no matter what I am working on. The only one of the indexes I am missing at this point is the typ index, but I’ll order that on my next Amazon boost to 25 for free shipping trip.

I also did some additional unnecessary shopping today. I ordered a $65 light kit with translucent umbrella and light stand today from B&H. Hopefully it ships as fast as my last order from them. Then you can expect to see lighting fun as early as the weekend. Yay!
